His reaction follows Kennedy Agyapong’s ”disparaging” comments made against him on his Net 2 TV weeks ago. The MP accused Joshua Akamba of planning to ferment troubles and cause chaos during the December 7 elections.
He alleged, that NDC’s Organizer had arranged with some macho men pick up ballot boxes at some targeted polling stations and also attack NPP members.
He claimed Akamba had provided these boys with ammunitions to undertake that operations on elections day.
But reacting to this in a statement released this morning, the NDC National Organizer described Kennedy Agyapong’s reaction as ”attention seeking tactics”.
He explained, that he had since Kennedy Agyapong’s rants, been advised by respected persons within the NDC to ignore him.
Joshua Akamba however indicated, that but for the advise he had received, ”the story would have been entirely different”.
He said Ghanaians and the NDC are currently focused on ensuring a befitting burial for the late former President Jerry John Rawlings and least expects ”such a reckless statement to raise the political temperature of the country”.

In as much as the NDC is focused in winning the 2020 elections, I would like to draw to his attention to how fortunate he is to have the NDC party leadership, some right thinking Ghanaians and some discerning party members calling to advice me to ignore his attention seeking tactics.
But for that, the story would have been entirely different.
As I by this serve him a word of caution, I’m very ready to ‘go gaga’ should he continue to thread carelessly.
At this time Ghana and the NDC is finding ways to give the founder of our party and the Fourth Republic a befitting burial, we least expected such a reckless statement to raise the political temperature of the country
