Okudzeto Ablakwa Awards 25 WASSCE Candidates with Full Tertiary Scholarship

Member of Parliament for North Tongu constituency, Honourable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has announced a decision to award 25 students from 5 senior high schools in his constituency with full Scholarship.

The initiative, according to the MP, would see five best performing WASSCE candidates; two males and three females from each of the five senior high schools in the North Tongu constituency benefiting from free tertiary education.

The law maker took to social media to announce the life-changing initiative which will grant beneficiaries full scholarship for the entire duration of their tertiary education.

This package, as announced by the North Tongu legislator, is in addition to his education intervention which ensures that all orphaned and vulnerable WASSCE candidates in the North Tongu constituency automatically qualify for full tertiary scholarships

“As heads of second cycle institutions begin the 2020 WASSCE Analysis, I have conveyed my decision to the North Tongu District Education Director, Mr. Godwin Amelor to the effect that I am increasing the number of beneficiaries on the MP’s Scholarship Scheme. This year, five best performing WASSCE candidates (two males and three females) from each of our five senior high schools (a total of 25 students) will receive full scholarship for the entire duration of their tertiary education”, part of the MP’s statement reads.
