Reigning Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Raggae/dancehall artiste of the year, Kojo Kurankye, popularly known as Raskuku has expressed his disappointment at how people don’t want him to celebrate his hustle.
Raskuku won one of the most competitive awards in this year’s edition of the VGMAs. Though many people think it was possible only because Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy were banned from the awards, Raskuku believes that it was his hard work and hustle that got him the award. After the ceremony, the Puom Music boss was seen at various places, taking pics with his fans with the plaque. He was recently seen abroad taking a pic with a foreign police officer with the plaque.
However, some sections of the public think what Raskuku is doing with the plaque is unnecessary. Responding to these critics, Raskuku took to his Facebook page to post on why people don’t seem really happy for the celebration of his own hustle. According to him, people buy waakye, fufu and other consumables and post it on social media, but these same people don’t want him to celebrate his hustle. He went ahead to indicate that, he doesn’t really care what people will say about how he has decided to celebrate his own hustle.
